The October 7 annual business meeting was a packed and productive one:

• FOSM president Mike Madden summarized recent and upcoming events.
• FOSM secretary Silke Bletzer presented an impressive summary of FOSM members volunteer efforts during fiscal year 2025.
• Membership approved proposed changes to FOSM bylaws and policies presented by Silke.
• Jamey Browning presented Don Carnicom with the Sam Beard Achievement Award.
• Membership elected slate of officers and board members for FY2026 proposed by nominating committee.

After the business meeting, Stan Davis entertained and educated us with a presentation about “EarthCaches of the Sandias.” The Sandias never cease to amaze.
