Hello Volunteers,

On Wednesday, April 22, FOSM volunteers will work on the following two projects:

Pruning Tijeras Pueblo Site Trail — Volunteers will prune one-seed juniper trees along the trail with long-handle loppers, pole saws, and maybe a chain saw. Pruning the junipers properly (not just chopping off ends of branches) will be tedious work.

Replacing Broken Fence Post in Cienega PA — Dan Benton will lead a small crew replacing a broken fence post in Cienega Picnic Area.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.

Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a hard hat, work gloves, eye and ear protection, lunch, drinks, and snacks.
