Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, August 5, the FOSM general project will be felling, limbing, and bucking hazard trees in Cienega Canyon picnic area. We will buck the logs to lengths of 4 to 8 feet and leave the wood for homeowners with permits to collect. We will be felling at least two boxelders near the host site and one Rocky Mountain juniper near the lower restroom.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.

Wear a long sleeve shirt, boots with slip-resistant soles, and long pants. Bring a hard hat, eye and ear protection, work gloves, lunch, snacks, and drinks.
