Welcome to Fiscal Year 2027!

Wow, the many activities of the past few days have had me busy trying to keep our website up to date with information about:

Our last general membership meeting of 2026,
Our new officers and board members,
Sally and Bob Lowder receiving Sam Beard Achievement Awards,
Recent events like the Sandia Ski Area Trailfest, National Public Lands Day, and the East Mountain Celebration,
Upcoming events like the Adopt-a-Highway project on October 23 and the SRD Volunteer Recognition Celebration on October 27.

You’ve heard about these happenings in previous emails, but you can find additional information on our homepage and by clicking on the embedded links.

Stay tuned for lots of photos from the wonderful day the Wednesday crew had yesterday processing donation wood with 16 junior students and three faculty members from East Mountain High School. Thanks, Lou Romero, Rene Archer, and Sam Beard for making it happen! Lou, we look forward to seeing you back with us soon with your upgraded heart.
