[ACLU-NM] Teach-In on Gay Marriage

  Teach–In on Gay Marriage



When? Wednesday, March 24th, 6:00 p.m.

Where? UNM Law School, the Forum



Why? To educate ourselves and our community about recent events concerning
gay-marriage. In particular, the teach-in will explore the reasoning behind
state court judgments and individuals in government that have issued
marriage licenses to gay couples, the implications on an individual’s
constitutional rights, and the recent proposal by President Bush to pass an
amendment to the Constitution that will limit marriage to a union between a
man and woman only.
