Since the ACLU has been instrumental in preserving free speech in cyberspace, it's only natural that we should be exercising it, too. Here are some links to current and recent ACLU blogs. If you know of any other ACLU blogs out there, please let me know!
1. This week on TPM Café, an offshoot of the well-regarded Talking Points Memo blog, the ACLU's own Dr. Jeremy Gunn is a guest on the Table-for-One feature, writing about the Dover intelligent design trial and other freedom of religion and belief issues. Today's entry, about intelligent design and slipping science standards, has sparked a particularly lively discussion. Check it out at:

And in case you missed it, Anthony Romero was a Table-for-One guest back in June, at
http://www.tpmcafe.com/user/anthonyromero/diary
2. The ACLU of Pennsylvania has been doing a great job of reporting on the Dover trial, with a fascinating insider's view of what's going on in the courtroom, links to trial transcripts, recommended reading, and other terrific resources. It's all online (and linked on the National homepage) at http://aclupa.blogspot.com/
3. As you heard from Debra Sanchez of ASD back in August, the ACLU is a non-profit partner in a social action campaign connected to George Clooney's new star-studded film, Good Night, and Good Luck. ACLU historian Sam Walker is blogging for the ACLU on the campaign website, http://www.participate.net/groupblog/5 <http://www.participate.net/reportitnow>
Read all about it (and encourage your members and supporters to become citizen journalists) at:
http://www.participate.net/reportitnow/reportastory/audio
4. At http://blog.reformthepatriotact.org/, you can read updates from ACLU Senior Legislative Counsel Lisa Graves and others on what's happening with the reauthorization battle.
5. And last month, at http://blog.aclu.org/supremecourt/, Anthony Romero, Steve Shapiro, Chris Anders, Lisa Graves and others shared their thoughts on the Roberts confirmation during the hearings.
Happy reading!
