Great news for NM to have this infusion of federal dollars for education,
but we must make sure that the Legislature does not cut back on its
commitment to support our schools. 
We saw what happened in 2008 with the federal infusion to support special
ed. NM being charged huge penalties for supplanting state funds.  We need to
be clear about the fine print.
