[LWVNM Action] HJR1 Early Childhood and Public Schools passed, almost totally partisan vote

Now to the voters, the people of NM, to decide whether to invest in early childhood education and care and more in the public schools through the 2022 ballot. Sen Tallman voted no based on the lack of a clear plan.

Distribution ends if the 5-year rolling average value of the  permanent funds drops to $17 billion. Distribution is 1.25 percent overall, 60 percent for early childhood and 40 percent for k-12.
