[LWVNM Action] Child care, elder care, and other care workers

Pay equity for essential workers, predominantly women who are over-
represented  in carrying the responsibilities, is a huge challenge. Women’s
careers and opportunities were most affected by the pandemic, which
exacerbated the long-term disparity

 Passing  Constitutional amendment 1 on the NM ballot will provide $150
million for quality child care for NM families as well as $100 million for
our public schools.
