[LWVNM Action] First LWVNM Legislative Tracking sheet - pre-session

I can’t join the meeting tonight. Here are my recommendations.

Please consider increasing alcohol taxes under Health Care.

Under Education  please consider campaign finance reporting for school
board candidates, increased training for school board members, teacher
education residencies/incentives, funding increases for special education.
 More coming.
We need to continue to oppose changing high school graduation requirements
(reducing the number of credits, math, language, and PE).
