[LWVNM Action] Action meeting this Friday, 6pm

Hi, Laura. In answer to your questions:

Priorities: the last couple of Action Committee meetings (announced on this list) discussed priorities. The Action steering committee (Action co-chairs Dick, Hannah and myself) also discussed them before each Action committee meeting.

Bill selection: only a few bills have been pre-filed at this point, so we're mostly guessing about what will come up in the session. Once the session really gets underway, the tracking sheet will have links to all the bills we're either supporting or opposing, and we will discuss that list at the weekly Friday Action Committee meetings; between meetings, we can discuss them here on the Action list.

Lobbyists certainly have latitude to choose which bills they care about: if you don't agree with the LWVNM position on a particular bill, there's no problem with that, but please tell us (either at an Action meeting, email to the Action list, or private email to the Action co-chairs, whom you can email at act at lwvnm.org) in case someone thinks it's important and wants to find someone else to lobby for it. That might also spur discussion of why you disagree, in case we need to consider updating our position.

Font size: Dick maintains the Word version of the tracking sheet, and I think he chooses the font so that everything fits in the table, but I'll defer to him on whether he can use a larger font. Once the session gets going and we have bill numbers, I will be mirroring his tracking sheet on the LWVNM website, which will use whatever font your browser uses and can be zoomed as needed. It will look like last year's tracking sheet, https://www.lwvnm.org/Action/2022/LWVtrack2022.html

> As a favor to those of us with poor eyesight, could you increase the font size to at least 11 on future tracking sheets?  Thanks.
