[LWVNM Action] Fwd: SJM on the ERA

I am absolutely in support of NM passing a resolution on the ERA, but the
draft language outlines an inaccurate procedure . Last month, MN passed a
resolution that spells out the correct procedure for compiling the ERA by
calling on Congress rather than President Biden. See below. Also we need
the Leagues in the states that never ratified the ERA to work on their
senators. Ours are fully on board.

In the 2024 session the LWVNM will be working with Senator Hemphill to
introduce and pass a SJM similar to SJM10 that the Senator introduced in
2023 - attached.
