Dear supporter of modernizing the legislature,

Thanks for signing our petition! House Joint Resolution 8, a constitutional
amendment to create an independent commission to set legislative salaries,
is going to be heard by the Senate Finance Committee soon.  If passed, it
goes to the Senate floor for a vote and then to the voters to decide at the
next general election. We need your help to get this over the finish line!
