*Nov 29: New Mexico's Reserve and Revolving Funds *Over the last 3 years
the New Mexico Legislature has endowed existing reserve funds and built a
number of new reserve funds. These will help alleviate the historical
fluctuations in revenues caused by volatile oil and gas prices.

*Charles Sallee, Director of the Legislative Finance Committee, will
explain the state's reserve and revolving funds.*

*Dec 5: Upcoming Gun Legislation *The Governor has stated that she will put
the issue of gun safety on her “call” for the 2024 Legislative session. The
Courts, Corrections and Justice Committee has been hearing presentations on
various gun issues.

*Representative Christine Chandler, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee,
will give us an overview of bills we are likely to see.*
