[LWVNM Action] Fwd: LESC Activity Report for week ending June 14, 2024

State Equalization Guarantee, NM’s school funding formula that equalizes
the amount each district distributes for different types of students as
determined by the cost to educate them.  Many states use property taxes to
fund their schools, which results in well financed schools in wealthy
communities and underfunded schools in poor communities.
