[LWVNM Action] ICE Action

I spoke to our county clerk on Thursday. He thanked me for our plans to
register voters. By the way, we never "hand out" voter registration
forms. Potential voters must fill them out and sign them in front of us
and then WE hand them in to the clerk's office.
The county clerk's office attends the naturalization ceremonies to register
new voters. (We are present as well.)
It is expected that our new motor voter law will reduce the number of
people who need to register or update their registrations at the farmers'
market, etc.
