Can southern New Mexico's citizens and environment handle the proposed massive investment in a data center, called Project Jupiter, near Santa Teresa? Many questions have been raised about the data center, but are the local and state decisionmakers listening? For example, does the area have enough water to support data center operations? Why is natural gas being used to generate power for the project rather than renewable energy sources? Who will pay for the data center's infrastructure? Who will benefit?

Speakers will address the significant issues raised about this rushed "economic development" project in a Zoom meeting on Thursday, November 20, 6:30 to 8 pm. Details are available in the attached flyer. Please register in advance to attend the meeting.
