It's not clear what they mean by patient-led, and I would need to know more before judging whether this is a good thing.

These groups have some interests that intersect with the interests of patients, and it's definitely the case that people need better access to care.

We'll see.....

They say patient-led, but look at the groups leading this - deceptive labeling

Our Founders in Progress

Building the foundation for a patient-led future.

Patient-Led New Mexico exists because of the vision and leadership of our Founding Organizations. These groups recognized early that reform is urgent, and they stepped forward to launch a movement where every New Mexican can access timely, high-quality healthcare. As founders, they are architects of change, helping to set the direction for a system that works for patients, providers, and communities across our state.

Founding Organizations

   - New Mexico Medical Society
   - New Mexico Hospital Association
   - Sacramento Mountains Foundation
   - Greater Albuquerque Medical Association

 Hello,

I learned about these sumits last night at a townhall on Expanding Access to Healthcare. For people interested in healthcare and advocacy, you may be interested in attending. One summit is in Taos, one is in LAs Cruces, and the third is virtual. There will legislation introduced in the 2026 Legislative session. This may give insight into what that will be.
