[LWVNM Action] HB28 - AI Transparency Act

Do we have positions on either of these? I'd been assuming we couldn't advocate for them because we didn't have a position.
HB22 is a good bill. I hope it passes.
HB28 is a terrific idea, but the definitions in the bill are a mess so I'm not sure how enforceable it would be in practice. There are at least three places where the definitions don't make sense. It's a shame, because the rest of the bill (what it does with those definitions) is really excellent and would be good to have on the law books.
Chandler is my rep, and I wish I'd been able to read HB28 and express my concerns about the definitions before it got filed. It's probably too late now. I guess I hope it passes anyway, despite my doubts about its actual usefulness; I suppose the definitions could be amended at some later point.
