[LWVNM Action] How the Action Committee will function in 2026 session

Thanks, Dick, for providing the write-up to show how the money bills are handled. This is always confusing to advocacy newcomers, especially when a bill number is passed but the bill number is dropped.

  [EXTERNAL]

We will be operating differently in 2026.

See the attached

I am also attaching the format of the new written Legislation Tracking sheet.

As noted, this will only list the bill number, the bill name and the sponsor
All tracking will be on the electronic version on the LWVNM Action page
https://www.lwvnm.org/Action

For those who want to follow appropriation bills and tax credits. I am attaching a writeup (Money Bills) on how those are handled. The process is different than other legislation.
