I was at a meeting today and I found out that Rep. Doreen Gallegos is going to be carrying a bill for the Governor that would allocate 300 million to a new permanent fund for early childhood education/programs. That would be duplicated over the next 3 years and after that distributions would be made for the programs.

The constitutional amendment for using more of the existing permanent fund will also be filed.
