RRFW Riverwire – GRAND LARCENY ARTICLE POSTED
July 13, 2005
River Runners for Wilderness was featured in a point-counterpoint piece
in the June 2005 issue of Canoe and Kayak Magazine “Grand Larceny?” by
Mike Kord (see RRFW Riverwire – GRAND CANYON CHASM, June 24, 2005.)
Jason Robertson of American Whitewater explained his 4-group coalition’s
agreement characterized as an “historic breakthrough” in their press
releases, which RRFW’s Jo Johnson disputed.
With permission, the article is now available online on RRFW’s website
at Grand Larceny?
<http://www.rrfw.org/article.php?file=200506.Document.Grand_Larceny?> in
PDF format.
River Runners for Wilderness thanks Mike Kord and Canoe and Kayak
Magazine for the opportunity to defend wilderness values and fair boater
access to Grand Canyon.
