Hi Sara, All three I sent from the accounts below were returned as failed. I don't have any idea why. I'm wondering if my server at work is blocking them or something. Anyway, I'm sending this through yahoo so maybe it will work. Thanks!

Hey! I'm Chris, a ww paddler from Alabama who is going to be in your great state next week. I'm sure we can find plenty to run on our own but thought it would be cool to paddle with some NM boaters...maybe show us that cool run that's going off. Anyway, I emailed your trip coordinator yesterday but it was returned undeliverable. Do any of you know some folks who would be interested in paddling with some Southeastern boaters?

FTR Hank and I have been paddling 10 plus years, very safety oriented and trained in swiftwater rescue.

Thanks,

Chris Sherrod

Hey Michael,

I would definitely be willing to facilitate a trip! :)

I'm from over in Alabama. My brother and I are flying in with our tandem canoe to run some ww in NM on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend (Our family is having a Memorial for our Uncle on Friday night in Albuquerque). It would be cool if there was a local or two who wanted to paddle with us. We are thinking lower Taos Box or something in the 3, 4 to

4+ range (we run class 4/5 from time to time but don't like to do it

4+ with

just us). I would love to get in a creek type run if there are any running.

FYI: Hank and I are both class 3/4/5 OC-1ers comfortable on tight, steep, technical rivers in our hard boats. We have paddled the tandem down Tallula Gorge to practice before a trip to Colorado a couple of years ago. We had no problem on the six mile pipe section of clear creek going in to Denver.

Also had lots of fun on the Granite to Pine Creek, Numbers, and Royal Gorge of the Arkansas.

Anyway, you know anyone that might like to run some rivers with us that weekend? I will be glad to lead a trip as I am really good at reading rapids, however, it is unlikely that I will have paddled it before :).

Thanks,

Chris
