Fellow River Runners:

It's that time again...the time to begin planning your trips for next year.  What better way than to discuss permit applications and at the same time meet others of like mind? Next Tuesday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. at REI (Mercantile in Albuquerque) will be Adobe Whitewater's monthly meeting.  This meeting's program will focus on family boating (including boating with children), and permit applications.  Mary Scofield, a water enthusiast who is well versed in family boating will present some ideas on how to do it successfully. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet others of like mind, and also obtain information on when and how to apply for river permits.
