Ben Kvanli, Michelle Clements (now Kvanli) and I will be teaching a basic 3-day whitewater clinic in the mountains south-east of Monterrey Mexico. The dates are Feb. 4th thru 5th. The cost of the clinic is $260, or $220 if we can get 5 or more to attend. 
   
  Ben & Michelle have both represented the US National Team numerous times. Ben particpated in the Atlanta '96 Olympics and has coached many Olympic, Jr. Olympic and National Team members since then. 
   
  I will be flying from ABQ to DFW wednesday night and carpooling to the Outdoor Olympic Center in San Marcos, TX wednesday night. We'll leave for Mexico early Thursday morning. The goal would be to paddle Rio Pilon in Rayones Thursday (or Friday), the Tampaon in Ciudad Valles Friday (or Sat.), and the Micos on Saturday (or Sunday morning). These are all rivers that a beginner can handle, but that still challenged an intermediate paddler.
