Taos Field Office Begins Scoping for Resource Management Plan Revision

Four scoping meetings took place in northern New Mexico from June 13
through the June 29 for a land use plan revision on public lands managed
by the Taos Field Office in Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos, Colfax, Harding,
Los Alamos, Mora, San Miguel, and Union counties. The public comment
period ends July 30, 2006.

There are updates to camping near the ruins. Rio Pueblo recreation (no
mention of boating, and as far as I can tell no prohibition of it either)
