*This Saturday is race day and, as always, we need volunteers. *

Come enjoy being outside for the weekend and help judge gates (no
previous experience needed), time boaters or even stop rafters and other
boaters from interfering with the racers.

Without your help these races can’t happen. The bonus? Volunteers will
get a _regular_ raffle ticket for each race they help out with!

Volunteers should be at the racecourse (about 1 mile before Pilar)
around 9AM. Bring food, water and sunscreen. Or at the Rodeo at 11 AM,
or the downriver race at 2PM (safety boaters are always welcome).

Camping is free at the TJ bridge group shelter on both Friday and
Saturday nights. The potluck on Saturday will start at 6PM. Then awards,
raffles (see below) and movies!

Remember - there is a regular raffle with goods from REI, Jack's
Plastics, Sportsman's Warehouse, author Christa Sadler and No-Tox, Inc.
Then there is the kayak being raffled off Saturday night. But you and
your raffle ticket must be present to win. See April flipline for
details. Tickets will be available to buy on Saturday.

On Sunday there will be a club trip down the state park section of the
RG. Start gathering at 9AM TJ bridge. This is a class I/II section run.

If you have any questions, feel free to call Mary Scofield at 505
