How will I find the river where we will clean up?

*The parks and recreation department will have the clean-up headquarters 
established at the Open Space Shining River access parking area. Access 
from Rio Grande Blvd. on the south side of Paseo Del Norte. *

When is the event?

*Saturday, 0ct. 21 from 8 am to 1 pm*

Do I need to bring my boat?

*All you need to bring is some wet booties and wet suit or dry pants. 
And a life vest. AWC is going to take responsibility for cleaning up the 
banks and islands between Shining River and the Central Ave. Bridge. 
There likely won’t be a great deal of water so we will be doing a lot of 
wading. *

Where will we meet?

*AWC will have a table at the Shining River parking area. We will meet 
there at 8 am. Marcel will bring rafts; there will be trash bags at the 
AWC table and we will BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs starting about 12:30 
for all AWC members who come.
