[Awclist] Nominations for AWC board members

Hi everyone,

Where did the summer go?  It is getting to be that time of the year 
when we elect new board members and new club officers.    So if you 
are interested in getting more involved in the club and being a board 
member let me know.   It is a good way to meet new people and get on 
the river more.    The board plans all of the activities for the 
club.   The biggest activity being the Rio Grande River 
Festival.   And there are club trips, clinics, and programs to plan 
also.    We meet about 8 times a year for a 2 hour meeting so it is 
not that demanding on time.    I have been active in several clubs 
and AWC is by far the best club I have ever been in.    So make your 
new years resolution to get on the river more next year and get a 
jump on it by being on the board.
