January 1st starts our new year at AWC. Every year five of our Board 
positions come up for renewal.  This year we have several Board 
positions open.

The Board is ten people who try to do all the things that the membership 
wishes, within the budget and resources that we have.  Two large events 
that the Board manages is the Rio Grande River Festival and the annual 
picnic.  We also oversee clinics, trips and river clean-ups.

Although there is some hard work, there is also a lot of comradarie, 
fun, good food and laughs.  We are looking for a couple new faces on the 
Board, so please e-mail me if you would consider joining the Board for a 
two-year commitment. 

Meetings are traditionally monthly through the Rio Grande River Festival 
and then bi-monthly or quarterly for the remainder of the year.
