[Awclist] Swift Water Rescue class at San Juan College in Farmington - 2nd notice

Class is already 1/2 full.

AWC has joined with San Juan college to offer a Swift Water Rescue
clinic. The clinic will be August 23 and 24. in Farmington.  The cost
for AWC members is $150.00  this is a significant discount when compared
to the classes offered in Colorado. At the end of the class you will be
a certified SWR technician through the ACA.

If you do river trips you should have this training.

We are encouraging those members who have never taken a swift water
rescue class to do, so those members will be given first priority. The
class will then be filled with members who wish to be re-certified.

If you wish to attend the class, please e-mail Mary Scofield at
flipline at comcast.net (please let me know if you have previously taken a
SWR course).  There is paperwork and in order to reserve your spot,
payment will need to be received prior August 18th.  The class will be
limited to 12 people, however a minimum of 8 is required.
