[Awclist] Rafting Flows

Hello all.
I just wanted to send a brief update on flows on the Rio Chama. Some of you have already noticed that flows have decreased slightly. It's my understanding that we have reduced flows to about 800 cfs due to the need to slow the flow into Abiquiu Reservoir. The release from El Vado is expected to remain at about 800 cfs through the weekend and through much of September. This will be my last "official" rafting report of the summer. But you are always welcome to call or e-mail me with questions. I will send out an e-mail next spring to let you know when we'll be presenting our Annual Operating Plan for 2011. Let's all cross our fingers for a good winter with lots of snow. Take care.
