I got the projector back today at 10am.

I connected it up to 2 different laptops here and it works fine. One is 
an old computer and one is a new one.     When you see the white bar 
issue,  it appears that is some kind of incompatibility with the video 
card of the computer you are using.    It pays to try it ahead of 
time.    I have seen the problem once at the ham radio club.  If that 
incompatibility is present,  I have not been able to get it to work with 
ANY settings.   In the future if you want to try it here before you take 
it, just let me know and we will try it out (bring your computer).    I 
will start to check it before and after it is returned if necessary.
When AWC uses the projector,  it needs to come back to me within a day 
or two at most so that the other club can use it.    Yesterday was the 
2nd time the radio club needed it and it wasn't returned in time by 
AWC.    I forgot about it and the radio club didn't get it for their 
meeting last night.

You don't need an appointment with me personally to pick up or leave off 
the projector which allows flexibility to your schedule and mine.   Just 
arrange pick up and I'll leave it at the front desk for you.   For 
return just drop it back with our receptionist or anyone else in the 
office   We are closed here on some Fridays!  so check ahead of time.   
If you would like to talk to me and I am not here ask for Sam or Eli.  
Either will be happy to take care of your needs.

Both clubs have done well not to damage the bulb.  It is important to 
let it cool before you unplug it and put it away.    Just turn it off 
and leave it plugged in until the fan quits running.
