[Awclist] FW: Pool Status

Hi All,

This is a follow up from last Friday's communication that we had found a new
home for the AWC Roll Sessions at the Kirtland AFB Pool. I am going to send
out a "Status Report" each Friday keeping everyone in the loop as to what we
have accomplished during the week and what we are going to work on during
the coming week.

 

              THIS WEEK:

1.       Notified our insurance provider (ACA) that we had changed the venue
of our club pool event and asked them to send a verification to Kirtland
that we are a PAC member in good stand and so are insured.

2.       Restructured our database to allow us to capture the necessary
information from our current members that wish to be included in the Base
Access List and thus have access to the pool. The database restructuring
will now provide the ability to send out an electronic form via email to
capture the information for each individual that is included in a family
membership(individual memberships were not an issue). The form can be
updated and returned via email and will automatically update the database.
We will maintain the database, adding during the year, new members who
desire to use the pool  and so be able to submit efficiently an updated list
as needed.

3.       John has taken the lead in working out the requirements and
procedures surrounding base access  and we are set to go on that end. All we
need to do is collect the necessary information and he will shepherd it
through the remainder of the requirements on the Base.

 

NEXT WEEK:

1.       We are going to meet this weekend to work out the final details.

2.       During the first part of next week you should receive:

a.       A communication with all the specifics (hours, location, schedule,
cost, etc.) of the new pool and detailed instructions about what to do if
you want to be on the access list.

b.      An electronic form via email for you to fill out if you want to be
included on the access list .
