I was suprised by the "1000 is too fast" comment too.  I'm hoping they aren't selectively ignoring the comments from rafters/public that don't agree with some predetermined plan.  I sent in my comments too.  Deborah and Wes are right on.  It is not raftable below 800, is marginal at 1000, and is starting to get really fun at 2000.  It doesn't get "too fast" until well above 3000 - I haven't done that in years!

Though I sent in my comments months ago, I second Wes' comments.  I think 800 cfs is boring.  Anything below that -- too many rocks.  1,000 cfs is just getting interesting.  And that's in my kayak.   Need a lot more for a raft.  Where in the world did they get the comments that "rafters think over 1,000 cfs is too fast"?

Seems like I sent them comments a few months back stating that I prefer 2000 cfs.  1,000 cfs is marginal for my 14’ raft.
800 sucks.  At 700 you get hung up on about 50 different rocks.
Guess I should have gone on August 26th, and made my voice heard.
Gonna have to buy a duckie I guess.
