[Awclist] Cochiti Lake log boom CLOSED

Boaters,

Due to sketchy weather last weekend the log boom in upper Cochiti Lake was
closed. It takes some time & effort to open & close it; I don't know of
any immediate plans to re-open it.

For current info please call the Cochiti Lake office, 465-0307, or check
the Cochiti Lake Facebook page for updates.

You do not need to have a facebook account to see the info.

Note, it is quick/easy for the Lake staff to update the facebook page. the
Albuquerque District web site takes longer to update so it won't always be
up to date.

As I understand it, people have been able to get rafts over the boom but
it isn't easy. Please be careful out there and have fun.
