[Awclist] Abq roll session Wed night

John,

In the past the ACA or Paddle America dues were required because that was
the source of insurance for pool sessions.
I am not sure if that is still true
As a new member I would be asking why ACA/Paddle America dues.

I do understand the AWC dues and it is good that they can try out the pool
session before making that choice.
$9 vs $4 seems easy choice

It is nice that you were able to get base pool for the AWC pool sessions

Thank you John for that and the explanation given below.

Celia,

Either Tim or I can sponsor non AWC members for a few times (2 or 3 times)
to the Base pool Wed roll sessions before they get a year pass from the
base. After that 2 or 3 times we would like them to become members of AWC
and ACA and I can get them a base pass good for a year. If they are not
members of both AWC and ACA it will cost them 9 dollars a pool visit, vice
the member price of 4.
I have two reasons for the above: It is somewhat of an inconvenience to
sponsor people on a temporary basis and the special base pool rate is
designed as a service for AWC members.
As I am not a board member, my above thoughts can be overruled by the AWC
board.
Feel free to discuss at the monthly meetings.

Thks,
John Coddou
