Presenter:  PAUL BAUER  from NM Tech -a principal geologist and associate
director at the New Mexico Bureau of Geology & Mineral Resources.

Topic:  Down the Rio Grande: A Paddlers Perspective of the Rocks and Rapids

    This one-hour presentation is a celebratory geo-photo-journey down the
undammed section of the northern Rio Grande, with an emphasis on the river
hydrogeology and the evolution of the sublime landscape.

 

He has a very nice waterproof edition river guide. "The Rio Grande:  A River
Guide to the Geology and Landscapes of Northern New Mexico"

Fort, and Evan Fort - "Our First Grand Canyon River Trip"  from a kid's
perspective.

THANK YOU to all  who attended Tom Martin's "Big Water, Little Boats" this
past week.

We had a great turnout with over 60 people.  Thanks also to those who threw
some money in the pot to cover the pizza, salad, soda etc.

Your AWC club paid for the rest and your additions helped to offset that
cost.  Very much appreciated!!!
