Yep! October really is already here!  Please join us at the AWC meeting
tomorrow:  Tuesday, October 8, 2013

6:30 pm

New Town House Restaurant - 9018 Central Avenue SE (south side of the
street- between Wyoming and Zuni)

 

 

Steve Harris whom many of you know from various interactions on the river is
coming down from Pilar/Taos area for this special presentation.

Known as "Uncle Steve" with Far Flung Adventures and as a river advocate for
the Rio Grande and other southwest rivers.

He has taught classes on rafting certification, and whitewater rescue which
many of you have taken.

While in the midst of a great drought many decision are being made about the
water in rivers we may have taken for granted as always being there.

Please join us as he talks about some of those rivers we all love and know -
developments on the Chama and Gila Rivers!
