Hi Adobe Whitewater Club,

Get ready for a very exciting New Mexico Paddlers’ Holiday
Party this Saturday, 4:30-10pm at Hotel Cascada in Albuquerque! Our club, the Greater Albuquerque/ Santa Fe
Meet-Up and Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3 have been preparing a memorable and fun
evening.

See cool updates below detailing our happy hour
entertainment from 4:30-5:30pm and an important upgrade/change on dinner is
detailed below as well.

 Registration/Payment

We know a couple people had difficulty paying online the
last day, so we have two options for you to take advantage of the early
registration price. If you register at
the door, $5 per adult/ $2.50 per child will be added to the price of the meal.
 Pre-registration helps us plan ahead.

1.
Pay online by midnight tonight (link below)

2.
Pay in person via cash (exact change necessary),
check or charge to Chad Morris (our club Treasurer) at the DAMNation film screening
event in ABQ this Thursday at the Tortuga 6pm.

 Everyone will Check In
at the registration table, those that have not paid but would like to order
dinner can do so at that time.

 Cash Bar: from
4:30-10pm. Those that purchased a meal will have a cocktail included.

 4 Informational Tables:
Our sponsoring organizations, the Adobe Whitewater Club of New Mexico, the
Greater Albuquerque/ Santa Fe Meet-Up and Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3 will each have a table for you to learn more
about the activities they have done this year and how to get involved, if you
are interested. We will also have a table dedicated to the Gila River.

 Silent Auction:
In a previous email, we highlighted some of the donations provided so far to
help offset the cost of the facility for our party. >$3,500 worth of
products and services have been donated to our silent auction. They include a wide variety of
things such as: books, home brew class, Swift Water Rescue class, paddling gear
rentals, helmet, multiple paddles, rash guards, mesh bags, water park passes,
drag bag full of cam straps, Grande Paco Pad, original artwork, throw bag and
more! Any money earned beyond the cost
of the event will be split among the hosting community based organizations. We will also be considering an additional
service payment to Hotel Cascada who has been incredibly generous.

It is a group of 10 student musicians (including an AWC member) ranging
from very experienced to beginner including 4 guitars, 3 mandolins, a fiddle, a
banjo and a base. We have some driving from as far away as Socorro to donate
their time and talent to our party. Please
share your thanks and warm paddlers welcome with them!

 EXCITING UPDATE ON
DINNER

Yesterday when we met with Hotel Cascada, they were very
appreciative of the early registration process, head count, and meal
preferences. They also really believe in
what our three organizations do for the community and have a special
relationship with Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3. They very generously decided
to upgrade the dinner for our event without charge! To help make things move smoothly,
give people even more choices, and allow people to choose the amount they want,
we will be offering a buffet. Those that
indicated a need for gluten free or vegan have a special meal that will be
prepared under their name. Everyone else can sample any or all of the items
below.

The dinner menu includes all of the
following:

Beverages: Water and Calientitos punch
(with and without alcohol will be available)

Soup: Tortilla (Vegetarian)
