As most of you know, I am in charge of the Slalom events (kayak and 
SUP) this Saturday at 1:00.  We are planning to set up the course at 
After Five again this year.  I will begin stringing gates this Thursday 
morning.  Anyone who would like to help is certainly welcome.  If things 
go particularly well (huh?) I hope to be finish up by Thursday late 
afternoon so I will be free to attend some of the River Rendezous Friday 
morning.

What I do need some committed help with is timing and judging the 
slalom events.  This requires no experience on your part.  Just a 
commitment to be there and watch the competitors and fill out a score 
sheet for each gate as they race.  There are time penalties for touching 
the gate poles and missing a gate.
