New Mexico water enthusiasts, 
 
We are excited to welcome you to attend the third annual NM Paddler and
Rowers' Holiday Party! 
The Adobe Whitewater Club of New Mexico, Greater Albuquerque/ Santa Fe
Kayaking Meet-Up, and Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3 community paddling
organizations are teaming up for the third year in a row to host a fun night
of socialization, exciting updates, and community support! Paddlers of all
crafts and skill levels are welcome to attend this free event!
 
Saturday December 5, 2015 starting at 5:30pm at Papa Felipe's in ABQ located
at 9800 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, (505)292-8877.

- Welcome
- Special accomplishments in New Mexico in 2015
- Exciting plans for 2016
- Dinner, social, and prizes
 
Dinner
- Papa Felipe's will offer their complete menu, please pay for what you
order 
- While there is no charge for this event, we do encourage you to have
dinner or at a minimum order a drink in support of our hosting restaurant
that is supportive of Adobe on a monthly basis and not charging us for the
use of their special events room
- Please recognize that with a group our size, it can be a challenge for
restaurants. Please help your server by ensuring you give them your complete
name when you place your orders, and that you are in relatively the same
seat when your food arrives. 
 
Charity/ Fundraising:
- In the spirit of the holidays and paddlers contributing to our community,
please consider bringing new or used (in good condition) paddle clothing
(PFDs, rash guards, neoprene clothing, splash jackets, dry tops) that will
be used in Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3's programs. For tax deduction purposes,
please securely attach your name and email to your donation and Jane can
follow-up with a receipt.  If you have a boat or paddle you would like to
donate, please bring a piece of paper with the information and your contact
information as we will not have the ability to transport boats or paddles
after the event. 
- Bart Harvey has created beautiful kayak and other river related holiday
ornaments which will be available for sale for $10 each. He and his family
are generously donating a number of ornaments to Kayak New Mexico 501(c)3
for free and will be donating $3 for each of the ones sold at the holiday
party to the Adobe Whitewater Club of New Mexico to invest in our community
next year.
- Barb Deshler and Susann Nutter have generously donated their time to
revitalize the Adobe Whitewater Club's logo.  T-shirts will be sold for $15
each, hats for $20 each, and stickers for $1 each.  A small proceed from
each sale will be used toward scholarships for our most active members to
attend an ACA Kayak Instructor Certification next year, that will be
co-sponsored by the ACA and AWC an held in New Mexico.    
 
This invitation will be shared with all paddling organizations located
throughout New Mexico. We are excited to welcome anyone who shares a love of
the water and hope you will attend. Please RSVP via Facebook or meet-up, if
you are able, to help us with preparations.
