The remaining cyclocrosses in the Old Fashioned Series tentalively are:
12-28-14 Sunday, 2PM, Hays Apple Farm Cyclocross, Bosque Farms, (USAC, already permitted)
1-1-15 Thursday, 2PM, location TBA, somewhere with snow, most likely.
1-3-15 Saturday, 2PM, Roosevelt Cyclocross, Tijeras, (not USAC)
1-25-15 Sunday, 2PM Valle Del Oro CX, Series Final, Albuquerque (USAC tent.)

I am thinking it better not to do the New Years day CX, Roosevelt to Saturday to allow juniors/vets who race national's mid week to have an extra recovery day. If there are lots of crossers really looking forward to a New Years Day CX, let me know and I will reconsider.

The 1-25-15 CX would be a big fast loop in the south valley, south of where the Sunislope course is. Doing a January CX race after national's is always kind of a risk. I have it on my schedule and am happy to set it up, IF folks are interested. It does require some paperwork on my part, some small USAC fees (paid by my sponsors), and setting up the actual course. So what I would like to do is request some RSVP's for the event between now and 12-7, this Sunday. Be realistic, and please do not RSVP unless you really think that you would like to do another CX "race" in January. Realize that it may be cold and that you will have done a few more CX races by that time. I am not doing 1-18-15 because it conflicts with the Chama XC ski race. I think 20 riders is a good minimum. Entry will be $15-20 with juniors free. USAC non-comp permit. RSVP by joining the event on FB or emailing me.
