All,  A quick clarification on the email I just sent out.  At the NMBRA Annual meeting we will be working on setting the first pass at the race calendar for 2015, so please bring your race event dates and we will start the building of the race calendar for all events.  The race calendar is, by design, a dynamic and often changing set of dates, so the sooner we get it started the better.  Thanks to Pamala T. for catching my mistake!

Cheers,
John Jordan, NMBRA President

Shane, and all other interested racers, directors, and racing community members,
The Nov. 22nd meeting is the NMBRA Annual meeting where there will be the NMBRA elections and some additional NMBRA issues discussed within the general set of responsibilities that NMBRA has to USAC and to the NM racing community.  I strongly urge anyone who has an interest in how the NMBRA/USAC/NM racing community relationship(s) are managed by NMBRA to attend and make your voices, opinions, and votes heard.
The NMBRA Board has also made the decision to have a separate meeting that will address the issues of the various NM racing series (Road, MTB, and CX) as well as issues specific to setting the race calendar, which means that this meeting will be open to all, but will specifically address issues related to directing races and the racing series.  The date has not been set for this meeting, but will be announced (hopefully) at the NMBRA Annual meeting.  The rationale for having this meeting after the elections is that there will be a major change in the NMBRA Board makeup (a new President for sure) that will allow the new members to participate in this very important meeting.  Again, I urge anyone who has an interest in how the NM racing series and the oversight by NMBRA of these series is carried out to attend this meeting as well.

Apologies to the community for the spate of meetings, but it is crucial to the long-term health of the NM racing community that we come together as a community to address some long standing and thorny issues.  I look forward to seeing you all there!
Cheers,
John Jordan, NMBRA President

Apologies to the list....

Is the "Race Directors" (Or whatever is the appropriate title, apologies again) 2015 planning meeting scheduled for this weekend (I seem to recall 8 November, but cannot find an email).

If not, does anyone know when it may be scheduled for?

Thanks!

Shane
