[NMCycling] Ride the Rift Taos October 3

Heyyyyy New Mexico cyclists -

When's the last time you went mountain biking in Taos? And had beer and burgers after? AND got ice cream hand ups? For no charge? 
NEVER???..... Say no more!

Next weekend, Saturday, October 3rd from 10am-4pm, our community and friends will come together to offer you a free mountain bike event. FREE! The course is 90% singletrack (BLM's Rift Valley overlooking the Gorge). There are 3 different courses based on ability: a 12 mile loop for the more advanced rider, a 4 1/2 mile loop for more novice adults/intermediate youth, and a little kiddie loop. All ages, all abilities. Local businesses have stepped up to offer loads of prizes, including for kids! No one should go home empty handed. Oh, and the Taos Bicycle Alliance is hosting a bike swap at the same time same place. 

It’s free but it is also a fundraiser for the new Taos Area High School Mountain Bike Team <http://www.fitaos.org/team-fitaos-cycling-programs/high-school-mountain-bike-team/>, the first NICA <http://www.nationalmtb.com/> team in Nuevo Mexico!

If you register early (for free) you'll be guaranteed a hamburger and beer and ice cream :)
