While I am working on updating group rides, does anyone have info on the
Heater ride in Cruces?
Thanks

Frank:
Check out cycle cave 884-6607, every Saturday a group ride leaves from
there @ 9 a.m.. It's a mix of old racers like me, recreational people
and good ole bike nuts.
The club is Rio Cycling and it's fairly well organized and there is also
a Sunday ride. The route varies from week to week.
Call me with any questions.

Thanks Jenn,
I was just in Phoenix (Mesa side) last weekend and a typical group ride
(e.g., Two Wheel Jones) had 50+ riders going pretty swiftly in a huge
peloton. Quite a bit different here. Maybe it is because everyone in
ABQ's bikes are being stolen?
Hawke Morgan is working on the list...the latest version has dropped a
number of previous ones that I can attest are no longer valid (e.g.,
Sat/Sun Lobos and Tuesday noon canyon).
Hopefully some clubs/teams will respond soon.
Ciao,
Frank

Frank,
I often visit Albuquerque during holidays from Phoenix, and over
Thanksgiving I sent an email to each of the group rides in Albuquerque
to find out if they still meet at the locations listed on the website
too. I never heard back. I was surprised, in Phx we have tons of group
rides and a website that is fairly accurate. During our two rides that
weekend, we saw tons of cyclists, surely there must be some groups that
meet up. If you find any let me know too!

Hello All,
I am new to riding regularly in ABQ and showed up for a Sat ride at
the Lobo and no one was there at the time appointed (9:17) according
to the old NM cycling ride schedule. Are there any more Lobo rides
on weekends?
Besides the lone listed ride scheduled for Saturdays (Sheriff's group
ride) http://www.nmcycling.org/grouprides.html are there any other
unlisted rides planned on Saturdays? Where? When?
Are there Tuesday Canyon rides anymore? Where and when do such
rides start?
Thanks.
Ciao,
Frank
