FWIW I have two medium size dogs that pretty much go apeshit when somebody
comes to the house, or is pretty much anywhere in the front yard. A few
weeks ago they kicked up a bit of a ruckus in the middle of the night,
uncharacteristic behavior as they sleep in the room with us and generally
don't make a sound. I don't know what the story was, but the next day I
got an email from a neighbor saying thanks, as they had some indication the
dogs had potentially scared somebody out of the cul de sac we live in. So,
for some added security, entertainment, and companionship, get a dog or
two. Adopt don't shop. =) https://animalhumanenm.org/
