Bike Racers:

Over the past 7 years The Adoption Exchange Classic has donated over
$20,000.00 dollars to The Adoption Exchange which helped offset their cost
towards their efforts to find permanent adoptive homes for the New Mexico
children waiting in foster care. Over the same time period Sport Systems
and other generous sponsors has donated over $6,000.00 dollars’ worth of
gift cards in form of prizes towards the racers. Unfortunately, as I came
to find out in early December, The Adoption Exchange has closed its office
in New Mexico.

>From its first year, the race has been about donating its proceeds to a
charity that maintains an office in the greater Albuquerque area as well
promoting local business as much as possible. Since The Adoption Exchange
no longer has an office in Albuquerque, NM, the race has been rebranded The
505 Cycling Classic Presented by( Sponsor name here) benefiting(charity)
for 2017 and beyond. The name of the race as well as the beneficiary of the
proceeds are the only thing changing. Nothing will change about the race
itself. The race will utilize the same popular format as previous years
with distances and prizes remaining unchanged.

For 2017 the race will be called 505 Cycling Classic Presented by Car
Crafters & Sport Systems benefiting the Albuquerque ALS Chapter and the
registration is now open @ New Mexico Sports On line.
