Just note that you can't PARK at the 10K trailhead: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/cibola/news-events/?cid=FSEPRD529440. Forest Service has closed it, along with several other sites, including the Capulin Snowplay area - too much snow for the Snowplay Area?

Check out our ( the newly formed Sandia Nordic Ski Club’s) groomed cross country ski course in the Sandias, accessible from the Ellis or 10K trail head or the tram. A challenging 4 mi circuit nicely groomed for both skate and classic skiing! See attached map for details. Existing groomed trail in green.  The 488 is at the Ellis trailhead and the 10k parking lot  can be seen in the upper middle of the map.
