[NMCycling] Tierra del Sol Race March 25th

Yes, after a hiatus for a few years the Tierra del Sol race is back on the calendar!  Randy was able to get enough officials to make this race happen on Saturday, March 25th.  The race will start in Belen at Golf Course Rd and Hwy 304 with parking available at the Belen Church of Jesus Christ of LDS (2199 NM-304, Belen, NM 87002).  The race will start at 9:00 with the men’s 1,2,3 race.  Please see the attached flyer for all of the specifics.  This is a great route without a ton of hills – a rarity for bike races in New Mexico.

Registration is currently open:  www.nmsportsonline.com<http://www.nmsportsonline.com>.  We are hoping to have a great turnout!  If you aren’t racing but would like to help out, let me know.  We are a club of fewer than 10 people, and volunteers are always appreciated.

         Cost:  FREE
         Below is the cost for an Official License.  NMBRA will reimburse you the cost of your license if you work 5 or more races during the calendar year.

  *   NMBRA has now starting to distribute card flyers around Albuquerque & Santa Fe, like bike shops, Gyms and other business, to increase the advertisement of all the Race Series.  I will be contacting some clubs in El Paso, Las Cruces and even Durango to help us spread the word. The goal of the increase in advertisement is to translate in increase in participation.
